Bridal Africa has secured YSL as the official make-up and perfume sponsor of Bridal Africa, a specialist bridal exhibition to take place from 6-7 November 2010 at the Sandton Convention Centre.
Bridal Africa will be using the YSL make-up range on models for its’ Bridal Fashion Show, which will take place on both the Saturday and Sunday.
• Exclusively on the Saturday will be the Specialist Bridal Designer Award featuring celebrity models, which YSL will provide gifts for.
• On the Sunday the Bridal Africa Young Designer Awards and Model of the Year will take place, which again YSL will provide make-up for.
Bridal Africa’s official make-up artist, David-John of David John Make-Up International, said YSL was chosen because of its high-performing and targeted lifestyle products.
YSL’s Parisienne fragrance will be Bridal Africa’s official perfume. Parisienne is for the woman who, like a Parisian and spokesmodel Kate Moss, has a strong presence and assumes her contradictions with a disarming natural allure.
David John, who is an internationally renowned wedding make-up artist, whose speciality is eye make-up, said for the big day and any special occasion afterwards use eye liner pencils, liquid eyeliner and a captivating mascara to finish the lashes.
David John provides individual Make-Up Fitting Lessons from his studio in Galleon Pharmacy at the Hyde Park Shopping Centre in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
