Unlike with the little black dress, the bridal gown cannot be too short. It can be knee-height, just under the knees or just above it. Anything else will just be too daring for the special occasion. Note that the shorter garment is not well-suited for winter weddings. It is perfect for a beach wedding, morning garden ceremony or early afternoon informal wedding. If you want to wear it at a late afternoon or evening wedding do so only during the spring and summer months.

 

Shoes

 

Since the shoes will be highly visible, you may want to consider getting them covered in the same colour as your garment’s fabric. If at all possible, use the same type of fabric as well. If you decide on open toe shoes you will also have to ensure that your feet will be amongst your best features. You can wear slightly higher heels than you would with a longer garment, simply because it will help to define your calves.

 

Flowers
