This of mine journey started through a very special friend of mine Casey who was getting married. She asked me to do her hair and make-up for her wedding, and I was petrified! I was not as a trained hair and make-up artist, and the more I said that, the answer which came back was, she wanted someone that understood her as a person and who she could trust.

From her wedding the doors just opened up for me, and I started getting referrals via word of mouth for other weddings, and I started realising that I had a great talent!

When I decided that this is an avenue in which I could succeed, I went and studied at Face to Face Design and Make-up school, where I obtained a certificate in Beauty and Fashion Make-up with a score of 93%.

I can say that I have an absolute passion when it comes to hair and make-up. I am creative at heart, and enjoy being able to work on a human canvass. We have all been made beautiful, and my skills are used to just enhance that beauty even further. The most exciting part of the process is witnessing the end result, and breathtaking moments expressed by others.

Erin means “peace” and Smylie means “smile” in Gaelic, and that is exactly what I will bring on the day as a hair and make-up artist.
